Spring 2022 // Gaming the System highlights artistic practices that enact a particular politic, not through depiction or didactic subject matter but by intervening through direct action. The issue will explore such artistic methods as gaming, hacking, stunting, or other forms of enacted intervention. Features will consider the performativity of a position through media, processes, and individual practices that could be—or have been—mistaken as apolitical or framed as neutral.
