ART PAPERS 10.02 - Mar/Apr 1986 - SOLD OUT
John Coplans founded ARTFORUM and DIALOGUE Magazines and was director of the Akron Art Museum from March 8, 1978 - December 31, 1979. He was invited to speak to the 20th Century Art Society at the high Museum of Art, Atlanta, about his current career as an artist using photography by Peter Morrin, curator of 20th Century Art at the High. Responding to an invitation from ART PAPERS, Morrin and Coplans had a conversation featured in this issue.
Furthermore, Robert Stewart discusses the art of William Christenberry, Roy Gary looks at the relation between the work of Ronald Jones and the Media and an interview with Knox Wilkinson, who is best known for his drawings of interiors and women. Lastly, Claire Downey discusses the Southern GF Competition; the high point of architecture study at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta.
