ART PAPERS 25.01 - Jan/Feb 2001

This issue, at the historic moment of ART PAPERS' 25th anniversary, starts to revisit our history and key issues integral to the mission of the magazine. Noteworthy feature articles include Dinah Ryan's response to Jon Schueler's "woman" paintings, where the male gaze becomes the male haze, Susan Canning's examination of the immediacy of Martha Rosler's work, and Barbara Kruger's slicker work with more evident internalized feminist themes.
